Algiz is an oak. Among others, dwells in it the  jay, who stays on a space-satellite and looks out in the universe for acorns while acorns are hanging on his branch or are falling down. The earthy squirrel seeks his acorns in the monitor. Under the tree stands the magician Kenaz and sticks his boring wand in the root oft the tree, which is captured by light and  gives birth to a new plant. Wraped round the wand are mistletoes, as well as can be found on the crown oft he tree.

Algiz ist eine Eiche. Unter anderem wohnen auf ihr der Eichelhäher, welcher auf einem Satelliten steht und im All nach Eicheln sucht, obwohl Eicheln an seinem Ast hängen oder herunterfallen. Das erdige Eichhörnchen hält Ausschau nach Eicheln im Monitor. Unter dem Baum steht der Magier Kenaz und steckt seinen bohrenden Stab in die Wurzel, welche vom Licht erfasst wird und aus sich eine neue Pflanze gebiert. Um den Stab gewickelt sind Misteln, wie sie auch auf der Krone des Baumes zu finden sind.
